Talk like a pirate day

Before we ended up in remote schooling again, SRC decided that they would like to do something for other children, particularly those affected by cancer. On this day, dress up as pirates and get into character by talking like a pirate. Send us in your photos and we’ll have some awards for the different pirates we see. Maybe you’ll be the most fierce pirate or the funniest pirate. If you would like to donate money to this charity, you can do so directly by going on to their website (https://www.talklikeapirateday.com.au/) and making a donation. We have not set up a school group so it is up to you whether you wish to support this worthy cause. Classroom teachers will organise some pirate activities for their classes to do on the day.
