Project Compassion

During Lent we are asked to think of others and what we can do for them.

Being at a Catholic school, we are asked to take action to make the world a better and fairer place.

Part of the SRC responsibilities are to organise events that help to make our school and the world better for everyone. We call this social justice.

Every year we collect money for Project Compassion.

We have boxes and posters for each classroom.

We are asking everyone to bring along their small change to add to their class box. On St Patrick’s Day, when everyone dresses up in green, we would like you to bring a gold coin donation for dressing up and put it in your class box.

We will also be running an icypole day and the money raised from this will go towards Project Compassion.

At the end of the term we will see which class collected the most money and they will get a chip lunch.

We will also have a look on the poster to see what help we will have given to another community
